Vertical Mill (Rollers & Table)
Hardfacing and reconditioning of vertical mill rollers and tables.
← All solutions
Vertical mill (VRM) rollers and tables are surfaces that wear continuously while grinding raw meal and coal. Reweld reconditions them by hardfacing with NiHard IV and chromium-carbide cored wires — both on-site and in the workshop — with years of experience on Loesche, Pfeiffer, Krupp Polysius and Sinoma mills.
Applications
- Vertical mill rollers (Loesche · Pfeiffer · Krupp Polysius · Sinoma)
- Mill tables and table segments
- Segmented rollers
- Raw-meal and coal vertical mills
On-site and workshop application
- Installing drive reducers on roller hubs and automatic welding heads on the rollers
- Cleaning and template-based wear measurement
- Starting build-up from the most worn zone (3–4 rollers simultaneously)
- First pass with 1.6 mm cored wire — low heat input minimises stress cracking
- Hardfacing and restoring to template dimensions
- In the workshop, segmented parts are welded on the hub, numbered and prepared for dispatch
